Core Aim 7 Group

The Welsh Assembly Government has created 7 Core Aims that govern how services are delivered to children and young people. Pembrokeshire's Children and Young People's Partnership have created a group to cover each of these Core Aims and to deliver services against them.

Core Aim 7 is that "All children and young people are not disadvantaged by poverty "

Pembrokeshire has agreed a broad priority under this Core Aim. This is:

Reduced impact of poverty on children and young people through focusing on; improved identification; funding mechanisms; access to services; family education, and multi-agency working.

The Core Aim group will undertake training before working on an action plan for this Core Aim and it will be worked on as soon as this training is completed.
